The industry is fragmented with the 50 largest companies accounting for 40% of total revenue.  Smaller trucking companies critically need capital in order to fund and grow their operations and in many instances, conventional capital is not available to these companies.  Factoring can be a tremendous asset for the trucking company and factoring companies and benefit from the quality of receivables presented provided the proper steps are taken to ensure the performance of the receivables purchased.
